Services

Services

The team in teamac provides integrated solutions for seamless marketing optimization so that business just gets better and stays that way.

Think.

It is very easy to get trapped into the same old mind set that prevents new approaches and ideas simply because there is business to do.

The teamac evaluation of your marketing system is free. It includes a thorough examination of what you have been doing in many areas: advertising, promotion, sales, accounting, hardware, software, operations, affiliations, location, competition and personnel. The objective review is performed by a project team, which drafts your report and sweats the details. You may be invited to teamac focus groups, made up of outside professionals, skilled at complex marketing strategy and tactics. What you receive is a written review describing in detail where you are with respect to where you would like to be, and what your options are.

Act.

Activating your choice of options from your teamac evaluation puts the project team to work. Your letter of agreement is a specification, which provides a schedule, budget, list of deliverable actions and a time-table for completion. The process can include custom installation of hardware and customized software, design and publication of your web site, an updated teamac marketing plan specifically engineered for your business and a teamac training schedule. The rate for professional services is billed against a retainer at the rate of $125.00 per hour. Work done by teamac in excess of your agreement specification is billed at no charge. Additional training and support is also billed at no charge, within terms of your specification.

It’s a New Day.

It’s a New Day.

teamac mourns as it reveals it’s present opportunity, provides jobs and gives Internet access to people in their recoveries.

Mourning

On 11 September 2001, a new day of infamy changed everything. Except, it could not change what US citizens will do. And that is the same thing that their parents had do do. Gut it out together. Get the job done. Reorganize. At the very least, we are rudely awakened. Please read the update.

We mourn the loss of the innocent families world wide. We are moved, at the same time joined with a world wide family. Not since President Nixon went to the USSR has television made us make such a connection. And in mourning together, may we find our resolve to maintain contact with one another, that those attack victims’ lives did not pass in vain. Let’s get to work.

teamac’s newest opportunity

teamac is pleased to announce that it’s latest project, more than a year in research, provides Internet access to patients in Veterans Administration Hospitals. The project provides jobs to veterans in rehabilitation programs, single parents needing extra income, retirees and college students.

With a fixed base network of ten work stations and a mobile base of ten laptops with cellular network links, patients can have access to the Internet without being connected the the VA mainframe, a major security issue.

For the record, teamac is an Oregon corporation listed with the US Small Business Administration, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dunn and Bradstreet and a host of data base driven organizations as a disadvantaged business, the majority owned by a disabled veteran.

The business model for this project comes from the lobby of the VA Hospital in Portland — the coffee concession. Instead of a cup of hot liquid, teamac delivers a screen full of Internet. The business model can be duplicated many times, which means more jobs.

Self-Check

Self-Check

Take the POP quiz to determine the degree of teamac optimization which is right for you, your business and your book keeper.

Rate your attitude about the Internet

I have a web site and use the Internet in my business dealings with customers, suppliers, financial institutions and my book keeping.

I use computers in the office for a variety of tasks and have been thinking about getting my own web site.

We have computers but are not on line because it?s dangerous and a waste of time.
The damn things are a pox upon us and I wish people would quit trying to sell me stuff I don?t need.

Rate your attitude about computer hardware

I upgrade our system every two years or so and have networked our work stations to a server.
We have the same computers we did five years ago and they pretty much do the routine stuff just fine.

I would like to know about it but just don?t have the time to get into giga this and mega that right now.

I don?t know why they call it hardware. The damn things are made out of plastic and wire.

Rate your attitude about computer software

I keep up on the latest upgrades for our common software and have some pretty neat customized applications for my business.

I just got Windows 98 and my book keeper seems to like Quickbooks.

I am not really a computer person. What I got seems to be fine; but I don?t use it as much as my secretary so you?d have to ask her.

The problem with people is they forget that business got done without all that program stuff, which is just another way Big Brother can keep tabs on us anyway

Rate your attitude about computer use

We have been able to automate so many things that used to eat up tons of man-hours, it?s amazing. My P&L is updated daily, invoicing and receivables and inventory are all under control, and even our newsletter and customer follow-ups are executed and tracked automatically.
We still have a lot of data entry we have to do everyday to keep up with things. It would be nice if it could be more automated.

I look at using computers as a necessary evil and really what you need is a full time person just to handle them.

People spend too much time looking at the box and sending email and looking at porno or playing games.

Scores

There are scores for games. The point of the exercise is that most business people would prefer to have their computers working for them, instead of the other way around. But, let’s play. Add the numbers by your answers.

If you scored a perfect 4 you would be happy to have teamac give you a free evaluation because you have your business together and got that way by doing your own homework and picking a lot of brains, like ours.

If you scored over 14 the only marketing communications you need will be to buy a For Sale sign.

But, if you scored in the middle, a free evaluation sure wouldn’t hurt you. In fact, you may well be amazed at how an integrated Internet marketing communications system, custom made for your business, costs less than you imagine and frees you up to do more of what you do best. And that’s with the teamac guarantee.

A teamac system solution will turn your computers into money making machines, instead of … you get the picture.

E-Zine

E-Zine

A funny thing happened on the way to the office, as revealed in the entertainment e-zines teamac published and plastered all over the web.

Each edition contains a trivia game, survey, fun links and a movie serial. The links below will take you them; but, just in case getting back might be a trick, here is the interactive step between us — so you can paste in in your browser’s address window to get back. Better still, go ahead and bookmark this site by adding it to Favorites.

teamac’s halloween site (for sore eyes)

teamac thanksgiving (and taking) site

teamac holiday (and night) site

teamac 2001 — it’s a cinch by the inch

Now, just a couple of other notes. These sites are hosted by an outfit called Tripod.com, which is part of the Lycos network. And they are free, which means that Tripod gets to advertise their own stuff on pop-up banners that appear at the top of your monitor as the page loads. To view the pages without the banners, let one come up first and then minimize it. There is more about banners later…

Oh, by the way, each of these e-zines contains a serialized version of an original comedy screenplay called The Beach Lounge, by Thomas McEldowney.

banner advertising

There is nothing shameless about banner advertising. Here are some examples worth a look, from businesses who do exactly what they say.

coming back soon…

When you use the Internet and you do exactly what you say, you have automatically positioned yourself in the winner’s column because so many sites don’t deliver their claims. This first banner is for VitaCost, which is an online merchant of vitamins and supplements, for a heck of a lot less than you can buy them in Fred’s or Albie’s grocery stores or from the specialty stores in the malls. Here they are offering information to get you to click through with (pardon the pun) an eye catching banner.

The next banner is for Callwave which offers several useful services, including the “Internet Answering Machine” and “net2phone,” which lets you make long distant phone calls through your PC. The answering machine also offers a free fax service, which allows you you receive faxes as email attachments. As to the free phone stuff, yes you can; but, it’s a lot like making calls with a CB radio — not business quality. Once again the presentation invites you to get more information.

Printing is a touchy topic at teamac because your choice of a printer depends upon what you need printed. However, we all know a loss leader when we see one so how about free business cards? VistaPrint delivers exactly what they say when they say that they will and the quality is exceptional. They print a little ad line on the back of their freebies; but, it’s tasteful. Their use of web marketing is outstanding.

This banner is from Evidence Eliminator which came up with a really interesting utility program that can speed up your computer by eliminating stuff you can’t eliminate with your mouse alone. We like it because they shamelessly market fear; but, it effectively gets people to have look at their site — which is the point.

Another point is that you can get your message on other people’s sites through an affiliate program. Doing what you advertise you do will get you more results, new repeat customers and referrals. teamac will help you and guarantee it.

Here is a banner that can make you money.

At teamac, we use every resource we can for us and our clients.

We are rudely awakened. History is refreshed.

We are rudely awakened. History is refreshed.

My Friends,

It is straight out of Ian Fleming. Spectre has delivered its strike. Brilliant and stunning, it takes out more than three engineering masterpieces with less than a knife. It risks wrath equaled to its sheer will. Spectre has no flag. It makes no ransom demand. It just is.

Spectre will, however, be given a face, a flag and a reason to become a hole in the ground. As for the CIA and the FBI, they must rely on Bond. Regrettably, those who should have been sacked for booting this ball will keep their jobs. And a new generation is blessed by barbarisms, to perhaps become conscripted.

With knives and blades a few men of supreme will and patience committed their souls to their Higher Power, for which hatred rules over love. May I recommend that the President read the Psalms, of King David, and take comfort in the Prince, of Niccolo Machiavelli. Pearl Harbor and the JFK assassination are history. Hitler has become a wimp. We have a new day of infamy.

The logical and consistent thing for the US military to do would be to strike Florida, concentrating on the east coast from Melbourne to Miami and exterminating the thousands of people who have harbored and given assistance to the New York, Virginia and Pennsylvania murderers. Kill them all and let God sort them out. It would certainly make the Israeli’s shit their pants.

I hate the rhetoric I read even more than the pap that gushes over the air. It is the hollowness of it I find offensive. It’s like a Woodstock V. And son Brooks, at 20, gets what I got and his grand dads got, etc., an opportunity to die for his country, however confused such a country is.

It is the mock civility that is charming, however; because, it’s all about television, again. The every air network telethon tells us what media rules and what the media rules are. Internet, not. TV in lobby/reception rules. It’s an access issue.

Ruby shot Oswald on live air TV, as a cake iced by the Jack Lyndon Dick War frosting, every night, thereafter. The Iran Mystery Theatre begat Nightline. Our current event is just another legacy of the decision to bring carnage to the dinner table and sell stuff. In another 35 years, the data suggests TV will produce another hit.

As for me, my focus is on teamac as a government contractor, providing Internet access to VA patients, providing jobs for rehabilitative services, providing part time employment for single parents, retirees and college students at $25 per hour. Dot Com refugees get extra points.

As for us, we need to talk. We need to own our feelings, recognizing the non-negotiable nature of our emotions. We need one another. And we need to work. Together is best. Get busy!

Oh, by the way, Life goes on. Most ethereal considerations, for the moment, may be suspended. Yet, whenever we are in touch with reality, one realizes that reality has no feelings nor does it care. What makes us human is that we do feel and we do care. Now, we are awake, however rudely awakened. We are in touch. We should be.
